Marilyne Lemoine-Lopez

Marilyne combines a very personal approach with a highly professional teaching method. As a native French speaker, with 30 years of teaching students, from early childhood to adults, she works with the needs of her groups to develop their speaking, grammatical and cultural knowledge in French.
From an exceptional teaching career…
Marilyne’s love of French was born at The Sorbonne in Paris where she studied Linguistics and Literature. She taught French at “Lycée Français de San Salvador” in Central America, then in Australia, at Sophia Mundi Rudolf Steiner School, St Michael’s Grammar School and at Monash Uni.
… To excellence in her own language school
Marilyne created Almaje Scholae Linguae in 1999, to tutor and coach students at beginner, intermediate, advanced and tertiary levels, providing groups classes and private lessons to high school students and adults. She also runs customised programs for teachers and corporations.
Like all great coaches Marilyne keeps her students accountable and focused on achieving excellence. She is both demanding and inspiring when it is needed, because she cares about her students’ success and respects parents’ efforts to give them the best possible opportunities.
I want all my students to share the pleasure I get from our beautiful French language. I have a passion for helping everyone experience the unique excitment of feeling part of another culture.

Jean-Marc has joined his wife Marilyne to give Australian adults in particular a better understanding of how languages work and of how to enjoy the experience of a different and rich culture through the discovery of its language.
He is an experienced tutor specialising in French and Spanish for adults. Jean-Marc runs classes, conversation groups, and private lessons either face-to-face or on Skype.
He is passionate about sharing his love of languages built over years of working and living in Latin America combined with his French education and earlier diplomatic career. His quiet style and his sense of humour combined with a structured approach make Jean-Marc’s classes effective and enjoyable.
I like to play with the language, so grammar becomes easy to learn and vocabulary a pleasant tool for communication. A calm and free from stress class is the best for practicing French. A bientôt.

Janic has taught many students throughout the years in Paris and in Melbourne, from young children to adults. She uses different methods to cater to the needs of various students. Her aim is to make learning fun and enjoyable.
I have a passion for teaching and I love sharing this beautiful language, amazing culture and rich history with other people. Being myself trilingual since my early childhood, I know what it takes to learn a new language. and I love learning different languages( German at the moment)

Françoise has been a French tutor for over 7 years in Melbourne. She came to Australia with multiple degrees from the University of Paris X. Having learnt 5 foreign languages as a student and during her business career, she understands the challenges that everyone faces along the journey from absolute beginner to being fully bilingual. Françoise brings to tutoring the skills she developed as mentor and effective-communication coach.
Additionally, she is the curator of the Almaje page on Facebook www.facebook.com/Schoolae/. Always keen to help her students of all ages practice their French skills, she selects a wide range of posts. Françoise wants her students to have fun. She sees this as an easy and good way to complement the structured learning in classes or private lessons.
Although living in Melbourne for years, I love France, its history, language, culture, and regional diversity. I want to equip my students with the skills to communicate in French as naturally as they would in English and help you love France and French.

DELF Preparation Specialist (via Skype)
Laura has tutored many students and adults in France, New Caledonia and in Australia through schools, university and private lessons. She has also trained adults in Business French and in preparation for the DELF exam.
She also spent time assisting teaching university students and adults for whom English was a foreign or second language and who wished to become Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Currently located in New Caledonia, I enjoy using Skype calls to help university students and adults prepare for the DELF level they need for their further studies and careers
